March 10 Nodal Analysis

Today, we are going to use nodal analysis method for solving circuit problem. To check if we get how to use nodal analysis, we first do a pre-lab and find the theoretical value, and compare it to our experimental value, and find the percent difference.
Prelab
Based on nodal analysis we done on white board, the theoretical value of voltage in point 1 is 2.424V and in point 2 is 4.424V

Circuit and measurement at point 1.

Circuit and measurement at point 2.
The measured resistance R1=10.1K R2=21.5K,R3=6.67K those values are very close to the theoretical value in our circuit.
The measured V1=2.38V and V2=4.37V
Percentage Difference:
(2.424-2.38)/2.424=1.8%
(4.424-4.37)/4.424=1.2%
The percentage difference is very small so we consider the experimental value meet our predictions.
The small difference may due to the inaccuracy of multimeter, the resistance ot wire and the small difference between theoretical resistance and actual resistance.
